Training

Training is an integral part of the WA Freightl Group Business Plan. All employees of the Group are provided with a training pathway that assists them in developing new skills and to obtain national qualifications in the tasks performed. All training is linked to a National Training Package where possible.

Recognition of the success of developing an ongoing training culture has been the winning of a number of Training Awards by the WA Freight Group. These include the WA Training Awards Medium Employer of the Year 2006 and the Australian Training Awards Transport and Logistics Industry Award for 2006.

Safety

The WA Freight Group is committed to providing a safe working environment for all its employees and any visitor to our depots. A process of consultation between Management and Employees is in place to ensure that only the Best Safe Work Practices are adopted. Using the latest control measures WA Freight Group continually monitors its workplace activities to ensure compliance to all current OS&H Legislation.
